Simbot Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

When you use Simbot, we collect the following information:

• Account information: email address and password when you register
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details
• Hand histories: poker hand histories you submit for simulation
• Usage data: simulation settings, timestamps, and general usage patterns

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Service
• Process your simulations
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Communicate with you about your account or the Service
• Improve and maintain the Service

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, preventing abuse), and legal obligation (accounting and tax records).

3. Data Retention

Hand histories are processed in real time and are not permanently stored after simulation completion. Simulation result files are stored on our servers and available for download through your account. Account information is retained for as long as your account is active.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party processors:

• Stripe: payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Neon: database hosting.
• Cloudflare: storage of simulation results and uploaded screenshots.
• Google: automated parsing of uploaded screenshots.
• Resend: transactional email delivery.
• Dedicated server providers: running your simulations.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK (including in the United States). Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and API key protection. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
